Sight-Reading

Reading music never before seen

Sight-reading is a skill where a student can read music that he/she has never seen before and be able to play with almost no interruptions and mistakes.

Composition

Writing music is an essential part of learning and understanding the mechanics music. This is briefly touched upon but will be deeply looked into if the student wants to continue to compose.

Ensembles

Group playing

It is is encouraged for students to play together as a group or with their teacher as a duet. This is emphasized in almost every lesson.
